I didn’t grow up playing baseball, but I did growing up watching baseball movies. I don’t know how many times I watched Bull Durham and Field of Dreams. I can still hear Kevin Costner’s voice in my head as he says some of these lines. I thought I would share some of my favorite quotes from baseball movies as we get ready to start the baseball season this year.
Humboldt Moto-Cross Sportrait Session
My goal is to share old sessions by sharing one sportrait session a week. This week I will be sharing Karlie’s motocross session. I had been dying to do a motorcycle session so I was BEYOND excited! : ) We met at a private property and had a blast shooting. Karlie was a natural in front of the camera an we had an amazing sky! I can’t wait to do another one of these sessions! Who is in? : )

“The Thin Line: In golf and in life, the difference between a great shot and a lost ball can be merely a few feet. Most people call that luck. Successful people know it’s not. Sure, bad bounces happen and, occasionally, the winds of fortune may swing in your favor, but the primary driver of consistent success is practice. You must try, fail, adjust, and try again. Your margin of error decreases, the bunkers look smaller, and the cup looks bigger.”
SPORTS-ARE-BACK!-RUBY’S-SPRING-SOFTBALL-SESSION
All this sunshine is giving me major spring fever! With spring coming, that means sports!!! It is looking like little league baseball and fast pitch softball will be happening this year and I am HERE FOR IT! With sports comes sports photos which I absolutely love taking! These portraits are from the beginning of quarantine last spring. I was supposed to shoot Laytonville’s softball team photos, but then quarantine hit and sports were canceled. But Melissa still wanted me to shoot Ruby’s individual photos. So we made that happen. It was a beautiful day, and Ruby is a great model, and I love all of these images! If you are thinking of booking sports photos contact me soon, as my spring calendar is almost full!
